Coherent Capital Advisors Limited (Coherent) is based in Hong Kong with an office in Tampa, Florida. Coherent is a no-code software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that converts business logic within a spreadsheet into an API (application programming interface). The company intends to use the funds to expand across the global insurance industry. The company is led by its CEO John Brisco.
Coherent raised US$ 75 million in Series B funding. Maverick Capital and Maverick Ventures led the round and were joined by investors including Owl Rock, GreatPoint Ventures, Cathay Innovation, and Franklin Templeton (Franklin Resources Inc).
Cathay Innovation is a multi-stage venture capital firm, affiliated to Cathay Capital.
